Grace is God’s unmerited favor, a kindness we don’t deserve. There is nothing we have done, nor can ever do to earn this favor. It is a gift of the purest kind. Even though Grace is God’s domain, sometimes Grace comes from another person, or in our case, two people.

We bacame parents because someone else gave us an unearned, unmerited and unexpected gift. We did not deserve the gift, but have spent his whole life trying to be worthy of it. There is no way to even find the words that could accurately express our profound gratitude for this gift of grace.

If you have placed a child for adoption, you deserve the deepest respect and the deepest gratitude for your unselfish gift. We parents who are blessed to adopt spend a lifetime trying to be the parents you hoped your child would have.
